Welcome to the National wide prestigious American Indian youth pageant.

    

     In 1993 Miss Indian Teen World National Scholarship Program/ Pageant Inc, and Miss Indian Teen Utah Scholarship Pageant, grass roots was create and established in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Miss Indian Teen World National Program is run by American Indian women, and the pageant is a owned and operated enterprise that promoting American Indian Youth through out American Indian Nations and other States.

     We are proud to say, MITW is the first national wide American Indian youth pageant established in the USA. Miss Indian Teen World National Scholarship Pageant organization was formed to recognize and honor outstanding American Indian young ladies between the ages of thirteen through eighteen, to provide for scholastic and scholarships and civic achievements, academics and talents and community service award and leadership awards. The prestigious pageant highlights to recognize to empowering young ladies to achieve their personal goal and professional goals. Our goal is to shares a common need for a balance between spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional development and promote talent opportunities. Native youth prestigious pageant competition it is not a beauty pageant and there is no swimming suit competition.

 

Our Mission Statement

 

     The concept of Miss Indian Teen World is to have a native youth mentor representative throughout the United States. The winner’s contestant of the Miss Indian Teen World Pageant will have an opportunity to advance as a liaison of goodwill in the U.S.A., Canada, with in the American Indian Nations, for one-year term. Miss Indian Teen World is not a “beauty pageant”, but to seek to reach the beauty of the young lady heart, culture and heritage.

      

     MITW program encourages the development of talents, preservation of culture and heritage; cross-culture understanding through education, this is our goal. “Education empowers our American Indian Youth as a people”. This great event allows us to highlight our beautiful native women. Miss Indian Teen World emphasize the important of education, leadership, business, talent, personal achievements, performing arts, athletic achievement, and provide opportunities for personal development, promoting the highest standard of native heritage cultural and to appreciation the value stander of Miss Indian Teen World 2007.  MITW also promotes self-esteem, self-pride, poise, build self-confidence, to encourage them to pursue educational and career goals and become involved in community service, and contributions of tomorrow’s Native American women leadership roles, role models, and delivering a cultural message to many young native peoples and to non native groups, while preserving culture heritage and native spiritual thoughts, and awareness. Miss Indian Teen World will speak on the issues of Cultural Diversity, Native Projects, Native Teen Peer Awareness, and others related issues, pertaining to the appreciation of thousands of peers and mentor through out the Indian Nations.
