A sensational singer, artist, she rocks with high-energy as a top performer; specializing in pop, Country and Western, Yodeling, New Country, Hip-Hop, Rap, Alternatives, Oldies, Latin, Jazz, Blues, and her own Original Music. From her recent CD, “Girl In the Mirror” was recorded on her own Independent label. Victoria is a half Native American and Hispanic singer, who has studied music since she was two years old at Vocal Techniques in Murray, Utah. She is well known for singing all styles of music in the music industry all around the world, and she is a great performer, who has performed for many prominent people.

Morning Star, a talented eighteen year old Native American youth is a rising star who sings, country, Pop, Jazz, Oldies, Latin and Broadway and is a songwriter.  She has studied music since she was two years old at the Vocal Techniques studio, in Murray Utah.  She auditions for many programs throughout the country.  She has perform for many, many prominent people; tribal leaders, the Governors of Utah and the Governor of Idaho. Victoria has performed at Trade shows, Martin Luther Day, Cinco De Mayo’s, Hispanic Festival’s, and Christmas Box,, she has performed for many non-profit organizations, such as First Night Salt Lake City Utah, Adopt Elder Program in Park City, Utah, and Native American Celebration in the Park, Salt Lake City, Utah, and many other festivals. She has performed in numerous school districts, and pow-wows throughout the Four Corner areas and North America. Many times she often performs as an invited special guest at Festivals and Special Events.

      Morning Star was a finalist winner in 1998 Star Mania Talent Search - 14th National Singing Contest in Las Vegas, Nevada.  She also performs with the group called Musical Wave, and On Stage Productions from Murray, Utah. Morning Star has successfully auditioned for many Entertainments as a vocalist singer.

      Victoria Morning Star was recognize from the Country Music Organization Of America or (C.O.M.A.), on October 22, 2001 at Showboat Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada. Incredible with high-energy voice she swept this competition with seven awards. A highest point awards was a Silver Belt Buckle given to Victoria Morningstar, and other award was the Youth Country Music Risen Star award, including Female Vocalist of the year in the teen category, Country song of the year- “Girl in the Mirror”, and Album-Cassette, CD of the year award- also awarded to Girl in a mirror.  To top off everything; a great big hug from LeAnn Rimes’ Mother.

          Victoria Morningstar was the first Native American Youth to ever get several awards from the C.O.M.A. Music Organization. 

      Miss Victoria Morning Star was an invited quest to perform with the performing “On Stage Production" to perform on a four week tour in Japan from March 13, 2001 to April 11, 2001.

Her first Song entitled “Girl in the Mirror” was heard over 700 radio stations throughout the United States in 2004. Her single CD, Girl in the mirror will be out in the music market in 2006. 

 

 

Morning Star is a great person to know and to be friends with, her cheerfulness and determination has helped her cross many of the cultural barriers common to the teens her age.  She loves to help her elder people and fan club friends. She will continue in her academic achievements at Cottonwood High School. "All of these experiences have helped sharpened my social and competitive skills…", stated Victoria. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chavez are supportive of her fine choices in the development of her skills, talents, as well as her academic goals.

      Victoria is a great role model to all youth; she is the Native American Risen Star with Native Pride. She help organization Miss Indian Teen world National Scholarship Pageant.
